TUESDAY

isn't that the truth?

i tweeted something out earlier today that i need some help on.
ever since i can remember, i've been one to...take things personally.
anybody else have that problem?
a friend of mine said that every girl deals with it, but i don't believe it.

any of you bright young ladies out there have any tricks of the trade you can share?

oh-and guys, i cannot wait to show you my new blog makeover!
it's in the works right now, and i'm even more excited for you all to get one of your own!
details coming soon.

    2. I have read that book twice and learn something new every time I read it that I can apply to make my life and the lives of those around me better. Do it. <3.

  2. It's kind of hard to just let things go like that. I cared so much about what people thought for the longest time. And more importantly, like you said, taking things personally. I like to pretend I'm in their shoes & how they could have meant it differently. And lately, I just choose not to care. Which sometimes, gets me in trouble too.

I'm excited for your blog makeover too. Yippe! Also, I went to comment & pressed "Pin it" like ten different times. It was taking your signature. LOL!

    Love you !

    1. Haha! I wish I could just not care-that's where a lot of problem stems from..I care too much! Thank you for the advice-I really do need to put myself in their shoes more. You're lovely!

  3. ahhh your design is looking sooo cute baby! and with the whole taking everything personal, i used to do that aaaall the time. still sometimes do, too. it's just in my personality type to analyze every situation and to make sure i wasn't ever hurting anyone's feelings. it's a good thing to be aware of what's going on and to care about others but i was taking things to a whole other level. i had to learn just to let it go, let them do their own thing while wishing them the best. now i feel more at peace and have energy to focus on the things i love and the relationships that strengthen me. i should probably offer a closing scripture and prayer to go along with this thought or something haha but just wanted to let you know i've been through (and still do) this too. it gets better though. love you girl!
